A new house near Padstow replaced a 1940s bungalow. The house has two wings joined by a south-facing two storey atrium. High levels of insulation and passive gains bring comfort for much of the year. Heating is provided by a ground source heat pump.

Bramble Bank

A mundane 1960s house failed to take advantage of its spectacular site with views of the estuary towards Falmouth. Extensive remodelling altered all the window openings and added steel and timber decks on two floors.
